I am learning about making infereneces. I learnt that it is about looking at the picture and the words and finding clues.

Prefixes and suffixes

Reflection
I was learning about suffixes. I learnt that I need to look for the root word. I know that prefixes go at the beginning of the word to change the meaning, and suffixes go at the end.

Summarising

Reflection

We were learning to summarise.  We learnt that summarising could be about saying who, where and when.  Summarising is saying the story in short.  It is talking about the beginning, middle and end.

I am learning to answer questions about the text.

I am learning about the 'ay' sound.

Reading Eggs is one of our favourite activities to play on the laptops.

"I am learning the sound ay. I find it very very easy because you just need to find the letters a and y. I am proud of myself for getting two awards from reading eggs."

Reading Eggs is an online reading program that helps children learn to read. Hundreds of online reading lessons, phonics games and books to read.

Sage " I don't like doing it everyday at home it makes me tired because there are so many games and I have to do it on the computer because the ipad died. The lesson above is about the rolling 'r' or should I say the controlling 'r'. It controls the vowels. I like doing it at school because we have to change groups."
